But if you want to accept credit cards, then you’ll need to sign up for a Payment Gateway to handle credit card processing.
The Payment Gateway that we recommend is stripe.com. It’s very low cost and super simple to manage.
Cost for credit card processing through stripe.com is 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. No monthly fees.
Setup process:
1. Sign up for Restaurant Engine (with an Online Ordering plan)
2. Sign up for a Payment Gateway (stripe.com takes 5 minutes to open your account)
3. We will connect your stripe account to your Online Ordering and activate credit card processing.
